The default settings for the board were not heating the print head properly. Because it was coming in short, the thermal runaway logic on the new board cut in and shut everything down.
WebThe thermistor they send in stock creality systems is criminally bad. Make sure it's not shorting out and has tape protecting it from shorting on the block, is not over tightened, etc. If that screw is too tight, it will break the kapton tape insulation and short for example. The starting temperature of the cura software should be the same as the printing temperature setting, and the speed of turning on the fan on the second layer should not be 100%, but 50%. The meaning is to keep the temperature from changing.
