WebHaven't read Volume 3, but didn't really like either Volumes 1 or 2. The Earth-One Superman never really felt like Superman to me. Man of Steel is more-or-less Volume 1 "done right". It's the same basic story (just with Zod rather than Tyrell) but Snyder and Cavill still manage to make Superman feel like, well, Superman.
