The accumulation of thoughtless actions that leave employees feeling disrespected—intentionally ignored, undermined by colleagues, or publicly belittled by an insensitive manager—can create lasting damage that should worry every organization. WebIncivility is a critical, but under-examined aspect of teaching and learning. It has important im- plications for the academic success of students and the university as a whole. Bullying research of- fers a unique lens through which this type of anti-social behaviour can be understood with a view of developing intervention strategies.
